Throughout the evening, Moscow's aerial assaults have caused blackouts in large parts of the capital city, Kyiv.

Several individuals were injured while local people in the city's east were left without electricity and faced disruption to water systems, as stated by city officials.

At the same time, a minor was lost their life in a different assault in the Zaporizhzhia area in the southern area, as reported by area administrators.

Moscow has escalated assaults on energy facilities over recent weeks, while officials has requested "real steps" from international partners to exert influence on Russia.

"What's needed is not symbolic gestures but decisive action - from the US, the EU and the major economies - in providing protection systems and enforcing sanctions," was stated in a online statement.

Authorities reported that 450 drones and several dozen missiles targeted energy facilities, characterizing such assaults as "premeditated" and against "critical infrastructure" as winter approaches.

Government representatives said Moscow was "inflicting a massive strike" and maintenance teams were laboring to repair systems.

A wave of strikes hit energy infrastructure and residential structures in Kyiv.

Five out of the nine people hurt in the attacks on the capital have been transported for medical care, as confirmed by local officials.
